International repatriation services (from the UK)

For some families it is important for their loved one to be returned back to their home country. Direct Funeral Services have been privileged to carry out for many families.

Our repatriation package includes:

  • Transferring the deceased into our care during normal office working hours.
  • Preparing the deceased for transportation, including last offices, embalming, and dressing the deceased.
  • Supply of a simple repatriation coffin, lined in zinc, upholstered and fitted.
    
   
  • Consultation with family, embassies, coroner, hospitals and airlines, completing all legal documentation and certificates required for international transportation.
  • Transferring the deceased to the airport.

(Please note repatriations from other countries back to the United Kingdom will be quoted separately as the charges differ from country to country).

Terms:

In order to keep our overheads down and pass the savings onto our families, we do require payment prior to the funeral taking place, this can be made by either cheque, cash or bank transfer. We do not accept credit cards.
